This is my 95 litre aquarium with fake silk plants which i really dont like, i always get some cash for xmas so thought id get some live plants which i think will look a million times better. I would like some plants that dont need co2 or a high amount of lighting basically the easiest plants to care for that wont die, ive already ordered some marimo moss balls.

also if anyone can suggest s good online shop (UK) that would be great too

(poor photo sorry)

thanks guys im browsing those sites now

i like the look of the complete packages, especially this one

http://www.thegreenmachineonline.com/products/aquatics/plants/plant-packages/60cm-triangular-layout-package

would that package be suitable for my tank even though its 80cm long not 60 and are those plants ok for a beginner?

Tad expensive probably better to get plants individually. Plants like Vallis, cabomba and cprypts do well in my tank with no co2 and just a bit of tetra plant plantamin.

+1 on the vallis and hygro.

I wouldn't necessarily reccomend the cabomba unless you know for a fact you can grow it. I got some and it didn't fair so well and it looked like someone shook a pine tree above my fish tank :D.

Have a look at anubias, java fern, and most mosses will grow under low light and they are low maintanence. The anubias and fern can be and should be attached to driftwood. Watersprite may work for you as well either floating or planted.

thanks for the info but if suitable i think ill get that package i posted, although really expensive (i was pretty shocked when i saw the prices) i think it will look amazing and its super convenient because the aquascape is already planned out for me

Loving the tank setup so far - get some pictures up when you've got the live plants in!

Ben.

I'd avoid going to the Greenmachine. They have sent me partially decaying plants before complete with hiding snails! There are some good alternative sellers out there which provide better quality plants for cheaper.
