compatible fish

can blood parrots and angels and opaline and gold gouramis go in the same 55 gallon aquarium

i already have 8 gouramis in it and they seem to be getting along decently besides a few nips here and their but that is all i have if not what can they go with?

55g isnt enough for a blood parrot and all those fish. Without the bloodparrot your tank should be ok, plus there pretty agressive for those guys.

I had a BP in with an Angel for over a year (in my 55 gal.) and some others (see list below). However, after a year my Angel just passed on....I have not found out 'who did it' BUT the BP is a possibility. I have never had any problems wtih him before.....and it could have very well been the Red Top Zebra's....but who knows. Basically, what I am saying....you'd be taking a chance with that mix. BP's do get rather large too.

hey i think i am going to try and c how it works but i have a 20 gallon tank that i can use for the blood parrots for a while if they start any thing but otherwise i think/hope they will all do fine thanx for the info though
