Right now I have a single female jack dempsey cichlid (2inches) and I was wondering if an Eclipse Catfish could go along with the JD?

How big is your tank? What other tankmates do you currently have / plan to get? Eclipses can grow to around 15 inches in the aquarium.

15 INCHES?!!! I have a 29 gallon and on petsmart it says that eclipse catfish grow to 6 inches and the minimum tank size said 20. Also I only plan to have this one and the JD.

P.s. You need at least a 55G tank for a JD. Are you planning to upgrade at some point soon?
