Hello there everyone, Im just starting up fish keeping again and have just bought a 60 litre tank which to my belief is about 13 gallons. I was just wondering what i could keep in it. I know there is already a topic about this pinned but i am quite keen to gt a pair of dwarf blue rams and was wondering if my tank is suitable for them and what i could keep with them. any ideas???

A pair should be fine. A pair needs ten gellons of space to avoid fights, and you have, as you say, 13 gallons in there. Allong with them you are looking at the smaller fis, excluding tetras as they need more room to swim. Rasboras of all kinds are suited, and there are countless pretty dwarf types with bold and sometimes brash colorings :good: the down side is that they are hard to find :sad: Also, there are dwarf types of rainbow fish, such as Werneri. They stop growing at arround 2 inches and adult males have stunning colours and long finnage. There are pygmy corries for the bottom also.

How are you cycling?

At 13 gallons, you have 13 inches to play with. How about;

pair of rams
and a group of 6 of any of the above would bring you to fully stocked (or managably overstocked for one)
