Pair Kribs
Pair Rams
Rainbow Shark
Black Ghost or Elephant ?
Pair Clown Loach
Pair Kuhli Loach
Leopard and/or Zebra Pleco

Would they all get along together good? This is talking about around a 50 gallon tank. Comments appreciated ;)

they should all be fine together but can i just ask do you already have a zebra plec or going to buy one?

Pair Kribs - can be aggressive.
Pair Rams - bottom feeders
Rainbow Shark - aggressive bottom feeder
Black Ghost or Elephant ? -- i think they will outgrow the tank, but not totally sure
Pair Clown Loach -- will outgrow tank but it will take a while. IF you do get them, get more than two. They do best in groups of 6+. Also a bottom feeder
Pair Kuhli Loach - groups of 6+. Probably won't see them much. Extremely peaceful. Bottom feeders
Leopard and/or Zebra Pleco - Not sure about leopard, but do you know zebras cost over $150?? Also a bottom feeder

I would get more mid-top dwelling fish, and less bottom feeders. I'm not sure of the footprint of the 50g but there will most likely be aggresion issues.

Only issues I could see would be rams and kribs fighting :) as its quite a large tank you will probably be ok though, just a thought.

Hey guys, no don't have the zebra already, this is me building my dream tank in my mind really, just seeing what thoughts people have on the compatibility, but it's good to read your thoughts.

I guess thinking about it, I knew the kuhli's would do better in a bigger group although they do get quite long.

My main concerns were Rams and Kribs getting along and a BGKF outgrowing a 50g - can they live WITH the elephants or does it have to be one or the other?

I'm not sure on the rams and kribs, but the bgk will outgrow the 50. They can get 18"+ in some cases (females are supposedly smaller). The elephant should be okay, don't know how well it will get along with the kribs and rams. It is a very shy fish and you may have problems getting it food. Also on keeping the elephant and the knife together, many people say not to due to the fact that they use electrical currents to "see". I have never kept both in the same tank though, so I can't tell you for sure on what to expect. The rainbow shark will most likely be too aggressive to keep with the bgk or elephant. From what I have read, if you were absolutely fixated on having one or the other, I would say go with the elephant and don't get the rainbow shark; it will likely be too aggressive.

I have never kept an elephantnose, but from what I've read, if I did go for one I would let it be the only bottom dweller, certainly not put it in with any aggressive fish or fish who might compete for food. And I'd probably keep it in a slightly larger tank- they are very sensitive to water issues. And I'd make that a sand substrate tank.
For the other issues I agree with what's been said above: clown loaches and ghost knife will outgrow the tank, one aggressive/territorial bottom species is quite enough, khuulies need larger groups and a peaceful tank. Oh and zebra plecos being a threatened species, I would keep them in a setup where I could breed them- i.e. where there no aggression issues on the bottom, no potential fry eaters and probably have them as the only bottom dwellers.
