Hey, right now I have an angelfish in my tank along with three sword tails. I was thinking about adding a paradise gourami. They get to be about 4 inches. I used to have a dwarf gourami, which only are 2 inches and him and my angel fish got along fine. But i was wondering if adding a different gourami would cause my angel fish to become aggressive and if the two would fight. My angel fish is still fairly small so i'm scared he'd get hurt. Any advice here would be great.

From what i hear, gouramis dont do well with angels, but i personally have not had any experience of keeping them both together.

Some places say gouramis are OK with angels, some say they aren't I'm thinking of maybe some gouramis for my tank too.

If anything, get gouramis that are now smaller than your angels and that should help reduce any potential fin nipping.
