Companions for Angelfish?

Is it possible to keep an Angelfish in my 46 gallon tank along with livebearers and Gouramis? I just love Angelfish, but I wasn't sure what they could go with. I don't want any of the fish fighting so I want to avoid putting fish that may be too agressive. Any suggestions?

hey patrick I don't wanna sound mean to you but you shouldn't really mix Angels and neons cause neons are a prey to the Angels on the wild. You might get away now but if your Angel reach full sized then you should consider moving it or he'll have your neons for midnight snacks....

Everyone says that Angels eat neons in the wild.....

but has anyone ever seen a captive bred angel eat a captive bred neon???

I have neons with my full grown angel and there fine. I also have gouramis and livebearers with him in a 30 gallon tank. Patrick i wouldnt worry about the angels eating them i have never seen it he doesnt even chase the neons.

I got neons whit angels and they seem okay. Im planning to get cardinals this weekend.
