Community Tank

I have just started up a 45 litre tank, and am going to get a few guppies to begin with, but I read somewhere that the males fought when there were no females, and bred like mad when the writer introduced some. Is this a problem with guppies, or do you reckon that there were just too many guppies in the tank? I was also going to get some slightly bigger fish - angelfish look great, but I think those can be agressive too - are they, and what other fish of that size are good?

Angelfish would be too big for a 10 gallon, sorry...

You have cycled the tank already, haven't you??

I'm cycling it at the moment, only getting fish in a few weeks.

Oh okay. I don't know much about guppies, you might wanna ask livebearers forum for that info
