community fish fighting

6 Neon Tetras
3 Lemons
2 Chery Barbs
3 Glowlight Tetras
3 Corys
3 black tetras
1 indian sucker algae eater thingy
overatocked but there only tetras...
the whole tanks 6 years old inclding the fish apart from corys.
in the passed few days ive noticed everyone fighting for some reason, escpecially neons

Not sure im especialy qualified to give advice, but i think you have answered your own question. Overstocking.

Is the water ok nitates/nitrites/ammonia etc etc ?

It depends on how big the tank is. How big is it?

Like Phantom said, we need the tank size. Also, it is true that with age some fish tend to become more territorial and grumpy..
