Community adaption Disaster!

I put my Veiltail male Betta in my 30g so i could have room for another Betta. He seemed fine and all the fish welcomed him, or so I thought. My Ropefish has allways been extremely peaceful and never showed any agression to other fish. My Bettta wondered into his cave and that's when it went wrong. I looked over and the Ropefish had him in her mouth and he finnally got away, minus his whole tail fin! So now all he has is his dorsal bottom fins. I put in some meds and I'm hoping for the best.

I hope you've removed him from the 30g...

bettas in communities: just say no.

Yeah, but I've never seen him do anything like that. he lets all the other fish in the tank go in his cave or hang around near him. I don't know what happened.


EDIT: Yes, I took him out of the 30g
