I bought two common clowns today. I put them in the tank about 4 hours ago, and they have done nothing but squabble. I bought two small ones (3/4") as suggested, they were fine in the LFS tank. I know they will fight to establish which is going to be the female, but thought they are too young for that at the mo. Is it just because they are settling in? I had expected them to hide for a day or so, but no they are always out in the open. Oh and they are captive bred if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Jon

It will go on for a long time. It is normal. I've had mine over a year, bought them tiny, and the (now) female still beats the heck out of the male!

Just like in real life
