Combination Questions

Hiya guys,

Two Question.

would dwarf gouramis go with the following..

Congo tetras x 6
Neon tetras x 8 (Jumbo)
Bolivian rams x 2
Clown loach x 4

I have them temporarily in a 30 gallon tank which is planted and well filtered. i use a 204 fluval external filter. All fish a well coloured up and doing well.

I will be moving them into a 6ft tank end of january - start of feb..


And...

Would it be possible to add a regal plec to the combination?

yep i dont see y not, although i think some times they can get aggressive when breeding etcd but not too sure as they may be peaceful goramis.if you are think of putting a plec in the 30 gal no but would be great in the 6ft tank.heres a link to dwarf gouramis

Yes and possibly depending on which species of plec that is (don't know the common names for most). If it stays relatively small, it would be fine though your tank will be fully stocked and the clown loaches need to be moved soon to a larger tank.

Tomorrow i plan on getting those dwarf gouramis.. I suppose its advisable to get 1 male and 1 female OR 2 females.

But when i think on..

once ive transfered all my fish into the new 6ft system ( I plan on using two fluval external filters one on each side)
I dont know yet what i plan on stocking the rest of the space with..

Im defernatly getting a pleco. Maybe a Regal or a Golden nugget.

So the Stock will look like this.

Golden nugget pleco/Regal
Congo tetra x 6
Neon tetra x 8 (Jumbo)
Clown loach x 4
Dwarf gouramis x 2
Bolivian Rams x 2 (Young around 1")

This is going to be a "Display tank" for the living room.

Any suggestions?
