I am about to obtain a pair of baby musk turtles. They only grow to a maximum of 6", so stay small. I would very much like to have other thing in there with them, but I am unsure of how aggressive they are and if and fish can live with them peacefully... Was also considering tree frogs, but will look at fish for now.

I think its a case of finding something too big / fast for a turtle to tackle, while at teh same time making sure the fish doesn't like turtle meat! Any ideas? I have a feeling that the response is going to be "Turtles eat everything" but I hoped someone would know specifically about musk turtles or fish that can love with them.

MODS:

I didn't know which forum to post this in, amphibians or tropical shat, so since this is the busier forum I put it in here (almost every other post I have made has been moved for one reason or another!).

its a really hard one, shops will tell you its ok to put fish in with them but they just like the return business when the turtles eat the fish!!

Wouldnt you like to just have the turtles in there on their own??

I have a map and a yellow belly and they are huge now, much bigger than yours will get, they`ve always been on there own and so far ive had 3 yrs with no problems!

Sometimes i think its best to just keep it simple.
