Columnarius

I just finished a five day treatment for Columnarius on my one guy. His tank mate never came down with anything but I treated him too.

Since they have both finished the treatment and look good with new dorsal fin growth on the one when can I consider putting them back into their original tank with a divider?

The one that had the columnaris i would do another 5 day treatment just to be sure it has gone, good luck.

Good luck as well, With columnaris, I have never had a betta live more than a day. Keep it up, you're doing something right! I would treat the tankmate. Better safe than sorry.

I went thru the full treatment with both of them. One never got anything but the other lost his dorsal fin and a couple small areas on his tail. By day four he had new fin growth. He never acted sick. Ate well and bounced all around. On day three he was making a bubble nest.
