Coloured Play Sand Safe?

In homebase they now stock coloured playsand and it's safe for AQUARIUMS
kids wanted a different colour in theirs , it's only a 5kg bag but i'm going to spread some over the top

Yep I used to have the purple in one of my tanks, perfectly safe, bubbles somewhat when cleaning but otherwise its pretty good.
