Colour changing led lights

Hoping you can help my daughter who is disabled and registered blind lives the nose of a fish tank and seems to be drawn to the ones that have the colour changing lights. I didn’t want to buy one and put fish in if the lights changing colours upset the fish. I know many people don’t like the booths so I have two questions
1)are there better fish tanks that have this colour changing feature
2) does the slow changing of colours distress or harm the fish

I can answer the second question, and the answer is, yes, light colour does affect fish. The intensity, and the changing, are not advisable. Even the blue "moon light" feature affects fish.
