Colour Changing Betta.

I have a Betta whose colour has recently changed.

When I got him last Janurary his fins where a beautiful blue and silver.

Now they seem to have turned red.
It looks as if the blue and silver have grown out, and a deep red colour has come in instead.

Why would this be happening?

He looks otherwise completly healthy and happy.

It is perfectly normal for the colours to change as they get older. Sometimes certain foods seem to give them a healthier colour so it could be that too.
