Color Changing Goldfish?

I have (or had) an orange goldfish. It is in a 10 gallon tank with one other goldfish (a red caped oranda). The orange goldfish has recently been aquiring white spots of his back. And in the last week he has turned almost completly White, the only orange on him is a faint spot on his back. I heard that this can be caused by lack of sunlight and lose of pigment. Is this True, If so what can I do to get him to turn orange again (if I can do anything that is).

Goldfish are not livebearers so this is in the wrong section. But anyways...

Goldfish are known to change colours, how is the fish other than the colour change?

I have a goldfish that has turned white from being gold and there is sumthin wrong wit its eyes its like it turned albino!! . But know another goldfish that is turnin white, it started to happen when i as cleaning the tank one day and he jumped out ever since he has been turning white but they are still fine!!!

sorry I put this in the livebearer section, I just got confused. I know that goldfish are not livebearers. My other fish is just fine. They both seem healthy, they are swimming around eating alot. I have no idea what might of caused the color change.

Hiya, IMO i think its totally natural, my father in law has a very big tank (outside) and his koi and goldfish always chnage colour , well the colour fades with age. happens more with koi , water conditions may have soem thing to do with it. koi do seems to get their colour & shapes back when their grow..
