Coldwater temps are anything 18degrees or lower, sub-tropical temps are between 19 and 23degrees, tropical are temps 24 degrees+.
Where did you read that pleco's can tolerate 65F? there are hundreds of species of pleco's, varying a huge amount in what temps they can live in, so it depends on the species.
Also what fish you go for depends mostly on how many gallons your tank is and what fish you already have.

Hi pinkdolphin_113 :)

I don't know about plecos, but the peppered corys, C. paleatus, will do well at 65 degrees F. :D

well the temperature is at 75F so i guess that changes my whole choice of fish i can get right?
a pleco and peppered corydoras should be fine with goldfish right?

When you say "pleco" what type are you thinking of?
Plecos and goldfish generally don't mix with both of them being big waste producers, cories and goldfish don't tend to mix well as goldfish have the potential to eat any fish that can fit in their mouths (with many goldfish grow to 10inches+) and peppered cories needing very clean substrate, which the goldfish will mess up on a regular basis.
How many gallons is your tank?

oh yea sorry, just a common pleco. the goldfish isn't too big. he's like 3 inches at the moment and the molly must be about 2.5 inche. the gravel is spotless so far. the filter is pretty powerful.
im not sure how many gallons the tank is. its alot smaller than my other one. its like 30 x 15 x 15 inches.
