Its marble effect but the guy has called it a Coin Angelfish........is there such a thing?
I have checked high and low on the net for info but nothing has came up

I just wanna make sure its compatable with the other fish, i bought it with other fish it lived with but best to be 100% sure lol

Hi metalcherry

is it possible to post a pic? (easiest way is to upload it to www.imageshack.us and put a link here)

is it possibly just a silvery metalic looking angel ?

It might be my mishearing lol - someones pointed out it might be a Koi Angel lol
Heres a pic just incase
angelfish.jpg

Its yellow but when the light hits it, it goes white/silvery, it has a red patch under each eye and black above

Yours looks almost exactly like my blushing angel. I think the tank was labeled German Blue Blushing. He is probably my favorite fish! I hope you enjoy yours.

Edit: The koi angels at my lfs have really bright orange, while my guy is more of a rusty, natural looking gold. Your photo is kind of dark. How bright and orangey are his goldy spots?

Nice blusher you have there i have 3 koi blushers similar colouring to yours the yellow is very light almost silvery. Never heard of a coin angel tho but you know what the lfs are like :( 10 names for 1 fish lol

coin = koi maybe i tent to go a bit deaf in the lfs listening to the drivel there telling customers

Koi and coin sound very similar. That is a koi, with very little black. Koi are actually gold marble blushers if you go by genetics & bloodline.

My hearing is shot from years of working around machines, this is the sort of mistake I make all the time. One of the best being my wife telling me to drive safely one snowy morning. What do I hear? "Try stayfree!"
