i have made a coconut cave and want to put moss on it,

1. will moss grow on a coconut shell?
2. what the best moss to use (are there different ones)?
3. whats the best way to attach the moss to the outside of the coconut?

thanks

Danny

What i did was drill like holes into the coconut shells so that i can weave in cotton thread, or fishing line. i've been told that the flossing thingy used for your teeth is also a excellent way to tie java moss down. But i wouldn't recommand it

after you drill a good amount of tiny holes, just tie the java moss down by tieing it down!

heres a good example of a coconut.

There are a few mosses listed at the bottom of this page:

with pictures and some general info (lighting etc)
