My surprise babies - I went away for Christmas and came back to these!!

There's 6 in total - I think 4 males and 2 females..... or else the really small ones are from a later spawning. I'm gonna keep the speckly one and the two females, but I haven't got room for the rest, they'll have to go in a few more months, they're already getting macho and telling the guppies where to get off!

They're soooo cute..... my lil babies!

Congratulations! They are so good looking!

Are you sure that you have that many males? I see what looks like an orange burst, and the speckled one looks to be male. Am I missing some from the pics (it's kinda hard to tell if I'm looking at the same fish over and over!). The pectoral fins of a female will have the black bar along the fronts, and males will be clear or blue-ish.

Here's what I think (which means absolutely nothing to some! )

Pic 1: Male, Female
Pic 2: Male (interesting that he's yellow, though. My colorful females are like.
Check the pectoral fin on this one a few times to double-check)
Pic 3: Female
Pic 4: Female
Pic 5: Male (same one as earlier?)
Pic 6: Male
Pic 7: Male

Once again, not sure which have been duplicated! Now that I check my maths, you're right about the numbers! Sheesh, I'm too tired to be posting anything else tonight!

No worries - I'm not sure who's male or not - I thought the speckley one and the bright orange one were. I only assumed the male / female thing from size, and it's perfectly possible there's 2 spawns there, cos i was away for 5 weeks. I'm not very good with the whole sexing thing.... livebearers are so much easier that way!!

I think the pics are of 3 or 4 fish - little beggars wouldn't stay still and the guppies kept getting in the way "Take MY picture Mummy!!"

Thanks for the heads up about the black bar, that really helps. i will reassess!!

did u jus go away and come back to these grown cockatoos?
im gonna go away for summer for 3 months!!! back home to australia and i have cockatoos here...maybe they will breed for me too!!!
