Cockatoo Dwarf Cichlid Eggs

Hi!
I have a 110L tank with 2 small ( I think wild?) cockatoos in it and even though I thought both of them were very young and feeling my pH was unsuitable for most things to breed I realised she was guarding one of the little half coconut cave things with her life and sat in the doorwar chasing off anything that comes near, I knew that this was typical cichlid behaviour after spawning so I sneakily fed them a bit and then when the female ventured out I quickly checked the coconut and sure enough there were a load of little red blobs which I presume are eggs.

Now this is the first time this has happened and my 110L is quite heavily understocked ATM with 2 cockatoos 5 rummy noses a baby bn Pleco and 2 rams, what should I do with them?! I have a little 15L cube but I need to leave and won't be back until tomorrow and it isn't cycled or anything!

What should I actually do with them/ feed them?

Well done - to get a pair of Cacs spawning is great news !
In your position I would just leave her to it.
I appreciate that the eggs / or fry may not survive but this is
their first attempt, and if it doesn't work out this time they will
almost certainly try again.

Next time you'll be more prepared and able to assist better.

Okay then, so I shouldn't bother adding any specialist foods like that infusoria stuff? ( never had anything spawn before)

I'm going past a lfs in about an hour, should I get some
fry food?

Just got home and bought some tetra first bite stuff (was the only food they had) just incase I should feed them something, just done my sneaky feed the female cockatoo to get her away from the cave and then quickly check and the eggs are still there which i guess is good news!
How often do they spawn? once a week? every month? yearly?

I cant wait!
