Cockatoo cichlids

Well I bought 1 male and 2 females. The male has the orange flash colors which are cool. The females are wild and no so cool.

You're going to have to change your opinion on the females or you won't be able to raise any Good luck

Thanks. Well when I put them in I thought my male ram was going to show agression towards the male cockatoo, but he didnt. The male betta im "fish sitting" for a friend got nasty.

Good luck with your cockatoos. I hope you have better luck with your orange flash than I did. My female seems to be doing well now. I suppose I'll get another pair of cockatoos if my lfs gets more in.

So you have 3 cockatoos and a pair of rams in the same tank? I have a 30 gallon and was considering something like that but thought I might be overstocking considering I have 8 tetras, 3 otos and an BN. Instead of adding another pair of cichlids I was also thinking about a school of corys.
