hi i am about to switch from fake plants and set up my 1st planted tank. have been looking at the fermanted co2 systems my only question is how you stop the co2 at night ?

With yeast systems you don't. If it gets too high at night you have to use either an air pump or a water pump at the surface to drive off the excess.

Quick note though, not all planted tanks need CO2 addition.

if you use a homebrew kit to make beer then the CO2 can come from that
