I still havent pulled out my wheels yet, but i just checked the ph and im down to 6.8
All i need is to reach 6.6 and im at 30ppm, so im close
But the bpm is way to high for the efficiency of the ladder now....its turned up about as high as it can get...
So im pretty sure with a more efficient disfusser id make it to 6.8 without having to pull my biowheels....
Ill add a second ladder, and i think ill be ok
The plants are all starting to perl, so thats a good sign B)
Ok.. i reached 6.6 ph
The perling is fun to watch!!
But the co2 bubble rate is ridicules.. heh
So my second ladder should come in this week, and ill be able to step the rate down, prob to 60 bpm.... trial n error will tell
Sooo... hopefully this adventure will help someone else who may not have an ideal equipment setup, ie an undergravel and power filter, to hit their numbers
Basically, i figure i have to run at atleast twice the bpm as a canister filter setup....and i suspect the biowheels are a big part of the reason...
