Exactly. I read somewhere on a DIY CO2 site about pumping it into the media to help the bubbles get dissolved.

I still havent pulled out my wheels yet, but i just checked the ph and im down to 6.8 :)
All i need is to reach 6.6 and im at 30ppm, so im close :)

But the bpm is way to high for the efficiency of the ladder now....its turned up about as high as it can get...
So im pretty sure with a more efficient disfusser id make it to 6.8 without having to pull my biowheels....

Ill add a second ladder, and i think ill be ok ;)

The plants are all starting to perl, so thats a good sign B)

Ok.. i reached 6.6 ph :)
The perling is fun to watch!!

But the co2 bubble rate is ridicules.. heh :p

So my second ladder should come in this week, and ill be able to step the rate down, prob to 60 bpm.... trial n error will tell :)

Sooo... hopefully this adventure will help someone else who may not have an ideal equipment setup, ie an undergravel and power filter, to hit their numbers ;)

Basically, i figure i have to run at atleast twice the bpm as a canister filter setup....and i suspect the biowheels are a big part of the reason...
