Co2 Tablets

Just wanted a bit of help in my tank im looking at getting a co2 system for my plants as ive been looking around ive seen some CO2 tablets that you just pop in the tank every week or 2 and dont use a co2 system nearly all my plants are hardy and just wanted to know if any of you use the tablets and what you think of them?

I asked, but got told they were 'next to useless'. Ive since bought a Hagen system (£15.00) and a spiro diffuser (£8.00). This provides a relatively cheap alternative to CO2 canisters. You basically use the yeast mix pinned to the top of this forum and it provides CO2 for a week or so.

Indeed, that kit wont work very well, the nutrafin kits are around the same price and are tried and tested by many
