What's a good easy to use CO2 system for a 55 gallon. I'm scared to DIY and make one since I'm completely new to the co2. The ones i saw at petsmart and petco are only up to 40 gallons, and they seem easy to use with their fizz tablets.

anyone have a good easy to use brand?

If you want to go pressurized, you can buy regulators that will run with paintball CO2 canisters. I know red sea makes one. But if you are to go pressurized I would go for a regular set up with a co2 tank. Since their isn't much of a cost between the two and the larger tank will last much longer.

wowzers... these systems are expensive

Yes they are, especially across the pond. But hey, they required practically no maintainace and are very easy to work. The biggest part is actually buying the setup and canister. After that the only cost is the cost of the CO2. My 20gal tank will run for 6 weeks on a 20oz canister, which costs $4 to fill. Once you set it up and get it running at the right amount you don't need to touch it until it runs out.
