Hi all I got my co2 sorted I ended up with going the fire extinguisher route....got a bit scared with all the talk of the thing falling over so I made a little hole in a stand to house it a little safer

looks good. took me quite a while to get mine to where i wanted it, and i still want more! i like your driftwood. how big is your tank?

how about some vallis for the right back corner? a few anubias here and there?

not really a big fan of the vallis and I got a couple of anubias on small bit of bogwood off the internet....alas after a couple of days one by one I was picking the leaves off the top of the water

on the stem plants wait till they reavh the surface the cut them right back down again - this will give you lots of spare stems to plant and it will also make the plant produce side shoots and bush out.

With the others you will have to buy more or wait until they produce some plantlets. ;)

Thnks Aaron but I am looking for some tips on which plants to buy!!

Smart idea with the stand. :good: Might do the same when I get the pub gas bottle sorted.

I'll be following this thread for more plant recommendations ;), already sold on the idea of having dwarf hairgrass as a carpet at the front. Seem to be helping each other nicely here. :)

got some Alternanthera reineckii 'Pink' for the corner background right and some samolus valerandi for the foreground to the left of the bogwood
