Co2 Refills

I've been having this problem. My co2 bottle is empty for a week now and i need to refill it ASAP.
I Contacted London beer gas about refilling and they said they would do it.
The problem is they refused to refill my 2kg bottle. Instead offered me a deal where i can buy a 6,35 kg bottle from them and after that when i need refilling they'll deliver me one full bottle and i just have to pay for the co2.
Its a good arrangement and i would be happy to take it,my big problem is i have no space for a 6,35 kg bottle and they do not have smaller. It does not fit in my cabinet and with two kids around the house i cannot risk having a 6 kg co2 bottle outside of the cabinet.

So the purpose of this long post,is to ask if anyone in the london area knows of a place where i can refill my bottle?
Its not a fire extinguisher,its a 2kg co2 bottle that came with the full co2 kit that i purchased from aquaristic.net from germany.
Dunno if anyone knows its this one.

Talk to your local pub, they may be able to get it filled for you. Try your local fire station, sometimes they will fill it, if not try local cafe's etc, anywhere that they sell fizzy drinks on tap will have a co2 supplier.

Just get yourself a Fire Extinguisher mate, the fittings are all the same, i've been using mine for over 4 months now. Far easier to find a local fire safety place that will just exchange your empty FE for a full one. Very few places actually refil because of the health and safety issues around it, works out cheaper and easier / less hastle to get replacement canisters and send off the empties.

Hmmm, my current 2kg cylinder has been running for 19 days and i have just seen the pressure drop from 50psi to 40psi so its getting empty.

I have no leaks i am sure of it so why on earth does mine run out so quick, grrr.

maybe the reason they are so cheap, is because they are not fully loaded

I am checking my options.this weekend i have to sort it out.

Option 1 - find where to refill my bottle (unlikely).
Option 2 - take the deal with london beer gas for the 6 kg bottle. (possible if i sort out the space problem).
Option 3 - fire extinguisher as suggested here ( will start to look at this option as of today,its a very good alternative).

I will give updates later.

I use a 6 kg pub bottle & my local pub landlords just gets replacements for me when I run out. It also gives me an excuse to go to the pub.

London beer gas gave the same thing and they would deliver a replacement home and take empty when needed.but the problem is i don't have space for 6kg.
