I have a Hagen Plant Grow Natural System, and I don't want to keep buying the packets of reactants.
Does anyone use this as well, but has their own recipe? And might said person be willing to share that recipe?

well basically you just follow the directions....add sugar to the first line, add one teaspoon (i'm pretty sure it is teapsoons and not table so please correct me) of bakers yeast (activator), and add one teaspoon of baking soda (stabilizer), and then warm water to the top line...

basically, the more sugar, the longer the reaction will last (more food for the yeast)...if you add more yeast you will have MORE bubbles but it will last for a shorter period of time...experiement with different amounts of yeast/sugar to find the best mix for you...

i do exactly that with the same product (2 of those plus a 5Ltr bottle on a 40G)

as abstract said sugar to first fin, 1 teaspoon yeast, but 1/2 tsp baking soda (but only lasts a week with more output.)

then fill with warm water to the top fin NOT MORE or it'll creep down the tube.

give it a stir then screw on the lid and you'll have bubbles in the hour
