I have a Sera Co2 starter kit, and whenever I put a tablet thing in it lasts about 3 minutes and then totally dissolves, however on the packet it should say over an ammount of hours, i've used 4 tablets since i've had it (about 2 weeks ago), but the first 3 times i'd used them i'd set it up wrong, but this time i'm sure it was set up right. I have the top of it out of the aquarium, and that's where I drop the tablet into, it doesn't have any instructions on how to use it or anything, and I need help with it. So if anyone has any experience or help with these kits then it's greatly appreciated, and buying a new Co2 kit is not an option, my mam complained when I bought this one "your buying food for the plants?!" and it was quite expensive.

Hmm. Afraid i can't help you Neal. Hopefully someone with experience with these can help..
I cant see the tablets will be that effective if they only last a short amount of time. Is the link i provided the kit you have?
Have you though about getting a nutrafin kit?

I have a sera kit, and I don't think I can do a DIY mix with it. It's the one in the link, do you think it's possible without forking out alot of money?

That pic doesnt tell me much. It doesnt show it set up.
If your saying "i dont think i can do a DIY mix with it" then doesnt that answer your question? :)
If you dont want to spend money, then use coke bottles. But its probably easier to get the nutrafin kit as you get a diffuser too.
