Co2 mixtures...

I have a red sea Co2 kit which comes with 1.2L bottle attatched to a pump... Now i went to the lfs to get a refil pack and they are freakin expensive does anyone have any suggestions to what mixture i could use for the size bottle i have?

I have the hagen co2 cannister system and i have just used my own receipe and its better than the refills, i think i used, half teaspoon of brewing yeast, quarter teasp barcarb soda, 500 ml warm water about 25deg, and 6 tablsp suger, and its much better and cheaper. di
