Co2 Mix Seems To Have Made It Into Tank

I have a nurtfin CO2 system, and I am using the mix discribed on this site ( yeast, sugar, warm water) well I made a new mix today and then I left to do so erands, when i came back the water was very cloudy and it looks like the mix somehow made it into the tubing. I did a 45% water change but it doesn't seem to help much, any ideas and is that bad for the fish?

Happend to me, nothing happend to my fish but i've heard it can get them drunk! best thing to do is a 65% water change.

The yeast can use up the oxygen in the water, which is bad for the fish. Make sure you keep on top of the water changes and keep up aeration for a while.

same thing happend to me also. use less yeast and less water and you will be fine.

thanks, well I did an addtional 65% water change, the water is still a bit cloudy but not as bad as before, I am gonna let it sit for awhile and see how much it clears up..............

put carbon in your filter. it will clear up then, mine did.

Yea I was really panicy at 1st,but as I was "talked down" by posts on this board I figured that everything was gonna be alright
