Co2 Level Test - 24hrs & Ph ?

Can someone please post up the 24hr test method again for checking what the Co2 levels are ? Something to do with checking ph level variation over the 24hrs if I remember correctly

Take water sample
Let it sit for 24hrs
Test pH
Test pH of tank
Compare the two
A difference 1pH point = 30ppm CO2
