could anyone recomend a complete co2 setup that the bought..
i have a 260 litre and a 480 litre tank and would love to have the proper things rather than making my own...
please help
thanks......also if anyone knows where to buy it online..
:good:

I bought this one:
http://www.aquaessentials.co.uk/index.php?...roducts_id=1047

£70 delivered, with diffuser, drop checker, needle valve (built into regulator).

All it needs is a CO2 bottle, which you can get a 500g disposable one for ~£10 off the net, a 600g disposable one for £9.79 from machine mart, or you can spend around ~£20 on a refillable fire extinguisher (check out UKAPS, this kit already comes with an adapter) all it needs is a non return valve which costs about £3.

thanks but do you know how many litres one of them can handle?

Regulator style CO2 systems like that aren't rated by how many litres they can handle as you can adjust the flow of CO2 to suit tanks of different sizes, obviously with a larger tank you will run out quicker due to the requirement of a higher injection rate. The trick is to get even distribution of CO2 throughout the tank, meaning your flow rates have to be up to scratch. I suppose you could also run more than 1 diffuser in a larger tank to help as well.
