Does anyone know of a good CO2 diffuser for my DIY CO2 unit?
Preferably from Aqua Essentials.

Aqua Essentials

Would this one be suitable?

I have seen people on these forums praising the Spio ones that can be found at aquaessentials.com

Do you mean this one?

Do you think I should get it?

Can't find the thread where there was the conversation about it, i have been searching for it..

I would wait for other comments, but from what i understand it is more effective..

I use that exact same 'Aqua Mini Diffuser' from aquaessentials and it works really well!
The only thing that annoys me is that every 2-3 weeks I have to scrub the 'white stuff' that accumulates on the disk. But thats really easy to do i just pop it out of its suction cup and use my fingers to wipe it off.

Airstones hardly work as well, we are talking about teeny bubbles here.
If you were to use an airstone, you would actually get less co2 in the tank due to the bubbles agitating the surface of the water allowing the co2 to escape.
The aqua mini diffuser creates loads of tiny little bubbles <1mm and in my tank (30cm high), around 50% are absorbed into the water by time the other 50% reach the surface.
To make even more of them be absorbed into the water, I placed the diffuser under the mini-spray bar of my external filter.
