Hi all, would it be beneficial to let the co2 run through the filter out take and back in through the return pipe. thanks john.

Depends on what filter you have. You need to be careful that you don't airlock it.

I just run my CO2 into the return pipe just before the spray bar which does the job for me.

Hi Barney, i have a eheim 2028 x 2, so would it be better to just position the diff near the return pipe ? regards john

Hi all, what do you experts think any ideas which is best, because the surface of my tank is covered in minute bubbles, but my drop checker which is at the other end of the tank is showing green which is ok i believe . regards john

I add CO2 to the filter inlet on one of my tanks, but it is via a ceramic diffuser, rather than just letting the CO2 bubble straight in. I have never had any airlocking using this method on an AquaEl 250, but just admitting the CO2 bubble whole could be a different story.

Dave.

Hi Dave, i new someone else did it this way but couldnt remember who, anyway i have been doing it the same way as you so it seems, the bubbles enter the outlet via a diffuser and return through the return pipe hopefully  the way the plants are pearling it must be ok, regards john
