Hi there, I was wondering if the addition of Co2 can cause an increase of the green dot algae. It appears that this is happening in my tank. Thanks in advance!

Dosing carbon improves the growth and the growth rate of plants therefore you're getting green spot algae because you're not dosing enough phosphate for the plant.

Alright thanks, I will get some nutrients to add. Appreciate it!
