Have done something of an experiment with a nutrafin canister and added too much yeast, subsequently I woke up this morning and it has really clouded the water - I am about to make a water change. Will the yeast influx affect the fish/plants in the short/long term.

The reason I added extra yeast was that the flow of bubbles ran out after 3 days, but I will not let this happen again

Thank you.

It has caused a bacterial bloom, which could deplete the water of oxygen, so just increase aeration for the time being.

Wait, hold on. I'm doing an experiment with CO2 fermentation reactors. Would that bloom have been caused by the yeast entering the tank, or too much CO2?
