no matter where i put my ceramic diffusor, the spray bar dont send the co2 bubbles all over the tank.
i have tried it in the middle, at either end, but still no joy,so i was wondering, could i just put the diffusor under the out take pipe so as the pump sucks the tiny bubbles out my tank and into the external filter then back out through the spray bar?or just wedge the co2 pipe into the little strainer on the end of the out take pipe?

You can do that, but watch for a build up of co2 in the filter is a worse case it spot the filter working.

To be honest, why the desire to get the bubbles around the tank? If the drop checker is at the opposite end of the tank to the diffuser and it reads 30ppm co2 when you're getting enough co2 diffusion anyway :)

how much CO2 will clog the canister? can a yeast mixture + wood airstone be able to clog the intake of a canister? if so how long does it take

THanks

It depends on too many factors to be sure if any one setup will do it, but something to watch for thats all.

Putting the co2 output end of DIY directly into the intake of a filter, especially a canister, can result in the mixture being sucked out of the bottle and then into the tank. Place the airstone under the intake so that as the bubbles rise, they will be sucked into the intake.
