Hi
As we had a couple of females to re-introduce back to the tank, including a little red dragon who is tiny, i bagged them all and did a complete make-over of the tank.
Got everything out, rocks, plants etc..... Could only find 1 oto??? There should be 2. Did a complete gravel vac, made a right mess! but still no sign. Checked inside the filter, nope.
Apart from the female bettas, oto and a yoyo loach theres nothing else in there, so could it have died and been eaten??
Since putting them all back in, they have settled really well, especially as Candy the cross dresser has been removed to a tank of her, sorry his own!!

Definately not.....I had all the plants laid out and thoroughly checked through each one.

He probably jumped and dried up on the floor, or, he did die, got eaten by your females, then the rest got sucked up into the filter.

Not a chance of Mr Oto jumping out the tank! Due to having female bettas in there I have the lid "air tight" (not literally). There was absolutely no remains in the filter either. My thinking is he died and the yoyo loach ate him!

Cheers
