one of my clowns has something hanging of his face it seems, looks like skin or flaking white/clear stuff. been there for a few days now, i thought at first it was just food stuck on him, but it hasnt gone away yet!

anyone know of what it cud be?

Sounds sortof like cotton mouth... Read the last disease on the fishforever disease page.

DEFINETLY looks like cotton mouth. You should treat it for a while, and watch it's progress....that looks so wierd lol.

I think my damsel might be getting cotton mouth, I'm not sure... its like a white dot on his lower lip...

ive been putting in melafix for a few days now ... anything else i can use with it?


clownie is still eating well i watch it to make sure it eats wen i feed ... its kinda looking a bit better, a bit of it has gone now completly looks like i can see some of its orange! im gonna continue dosing till saturday, add my carbon bak in, water change and see how clownies looking before decieding where to go from there!!

the growth has almost completly gone now rather chuffed, gonna keep dosing for the recomended 7 days just in case though!
