well got the 75 gal. set up got a yellow tang and a clownfish tomorow i am getting a 3 striped damesl and a spotted damsel . But any way my clownfish is always at the top and i have seen him poke his head out a few times my wife put some food in and said he ate the tang is doing good as far as i know he is picking at the rock exploreing. do you think some thing is wrong if so what id hate to lose him my kid would probely cry ((nemo died)) :-( i can hear him now . Well i would be greatfull for anyones help going to test the waters parimeters see where they are at. -_-

Try giving him a freshwater dip.
fill up a fairly large bowl with freshwater (maybe add a little salt to buffer up the pH). when you've done that, net your clown and let him sit in the water for around 5 minuets.
If he starts to struggle move him back to the main tank quickly.
This treatment is used on parasite and fungus, which I don't know if you fish has, but it would be a good Idea to do one dip and see if he improves at all.

well last night he got worst he whet to one corner of the tank at the top and laid there almost lifeless on his side barly moveing one fin would move he did lhis for 4 or 5 hours and then boom he snaped out of it amd is swiming around the tank i have never seen any thing like this ever i am worreied about him my lfs only will take him back for 48 hours so i have to decide soon what i am going to do :dunno:
