I've always wanted Clown Loaches, but I've always been told they would be too big for my 33 gallon. Well, how long would it take for them to outgrow the 33 gallon? I'm 13 now, so I would probably be moving out in 5 years or so, and I plan to have my own house, not rent one, I.E. TANKS! So, what I'm wondering is, would they outgrow a 33 gallon within 5-6 years? If they do, I think I may be able to talk my parents into a 55 gallon, if I move out soon after, lol. So, clowns in a 33 gallon, temporarily? Thanks in advance!

Clowns grow very slow but with the right food and conditions i think they would certainly out-grow a 33g tank within five years. How many are you planning on getting?
If you were to get about three i think they would be ok for about three years or so IMO (Thats if bought when young)

I was planning on getting about 3 or 4, yes, and I would get them when young, and small.
