Clown Loaches

hi there , i have just ordered a rena aquarium complete with heater,filter ,light , hood etc and i was wondering if you have less chance of clown loaches getting white spot if you have undergravel filtration ?

um not really

much less likely to get white spot if you quarantine new fish

The type filter is really irrelevant. As mentioned, quarantining new fish will greatly reduce or eliminate the change of a problem.

It has been proven that whitespot does not have a dormant stage, but is introduced to the tank by infected fish / water. So, quarantine your new purchases, and all should be well.
