I'm considering adding Co2 to the tank my Clown Loaches are in, and am wondering wether the increase in hardness I use to buffer the water against PH changes will affect them even if the PH is corrected to 7 by the CO2?

ours are fine.

PH is 7.4
KH was 14 (before co2)

CO2 is added but i'm not sure on concentration as its DIY.
PH hasnt changed.

Ok, thanks. www.thekrib.com has a table that can tell you your Co2 concentration if you know your PH and GH. In my 10 gallon it's 35 ppm.

My loaches take wild pH swings with no ich or sickness. I've had it drop from 8.2 to 6.5 in less than 24 hrs. I guess my fish have adapted awesome buffering capacities :D
