got a few clown loach in my tank at the mo all around 5'' long they being happy for about 1 and a half hears now but just notice that on of them seems to loose its colour some thimes and goes realy pale but the next day it comes back again, has any one else experienced this and is my fish sick

I have 7 and mine do the same thing if they've been moved or in stress. Within a few minutes, color is back.

If your's does it all the time, you may want to find what's causing the stress. Could another loach be pestering it?

This may seem as a stupid question, but has your water conditions changed or are they ample to what mature clowns need? Make sure they have a lot of caves and hiding places as well. I am not trying to be mean, but there is a serperate part of the boards for loaches and I am sure they know more, I don't keep any.
