Hi there,

Just noticed one of my clown loaches is looking very sheepish - skinny and bent back - not looking good at all.

What is the best treatment for this in the UK? I have the interpet anti bacterial med in stock, should i try this?

Thanks,

Jonno.

Is the loaches back warped/wonky looking or does it just look arched because of the loaches skinniness? A common cause of weight loss in loaches which are otherwise eating normally and stuff is internal parasites, however if the loaches back looks bent/warped like to the side or up and down it could be fish tb- a pic of an advanced fish tb;

Does the looks spine look anything like this, even if not as extreme, or just arched because of the fishes weight loss? The disease which causes fish tb eats away at the muscle of the fish, causing symptoms like bent backs etc. Pics of your loach might help in ID'ing what exactly it has :good: .
