Cloudy?

Well, I set up this little 5 gallon up last night, I have sand, rinsed it out and all that jazz, got in from school and all the water was cloudy?! I look at it and its cloudy then when I go back later it doesn't look too shabby, but what's going on!?-.-

it could either be the dust settling from the sand and the filter removing it, or the filter is just building up its beneficial bacteria which helps the water look clean and clear. most likely its both
